Certificates were awarded by the Kurdistan Institution for Strategic Studies and Scientific Research to the participants of the first round of the Pedagogical Training Course

Today, September 13, 2026, certificates were distributed to 29 participants of the first round of the pedagogical training course at the Kurdistan Institution for Strategic Studies and Scientific Research (KISSR) during a formal ceremony.

President of the Kurdistan Institution: All projects of the Kurdistan Institution serve the community

During the ceremony, Professor Dr. Shwan Kamal Rashid, President of the Kurdistan Institution, delivered a speech congratulating the participants and wishing them success. At the same time, he expressed his appreciation to the director and staff of the Center for Pedagogical Training and Academic Development, as well as the directors, teachers, and the training course team at the Kurdistan Institution. He also highlighted the importance of the pedagogical training course, stating: "Simultaneously with launching pedagogical and language training courses, the Kurdistan Institution attaches great importance to strategic studies and scientific research."

In another part of his speech, the President of the Kurdistan Institution shed light on the institution's new program and plan to pay closer attention to critical issues within society. He added: "The Kurdistan Institution considers itself responsible toward the community. Therefore, all projects of the institution serve the community, as well as identifying and solving societal problems. To this end, it works on vital societal issues through data collection and scientific research."

Certificates Presented to Participants

In another segment of the ceremony, certificates were presented to the participants of the first round of the pedagogical training course at the Kurdistan Institution for Strategic Studies and Scientific Research by Professor Dr. Shwan Kamal Rashid (President of the Kurdistan Institution), Asst. Prof. Dr. Fereydoon Najm Rashid (Director General at the Kurdistan Institution), and Dr. Bnar Jawdat Ahmed (Director of the Center for Pedagogical Training and Academic Development at the Kurdistan Institution).

The Second Round is Ongoing, and the Third Round Will Be Announced Soon

Regarding the pedagogical training course at the Kurdistan Institution, Dr. Bnar Jawdat Ahmed, Director of the Center for Pedagogical Training and Academic Development, stated to the Kurdistan Institution's website: "In reliance on a directive from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the opening of the pedagogical training course at the Kurdistan Institution was announced. Following that, the first round commenced on January 15, 2026, and concluded on August 6, 2026." He added: "The second round began on July 12, 2026, and is still ongoing." He also announced: "We plan to announce the third round of the pedagogical training course very soon, and it is scheduled to start at the beginning of November this year."

Participants of the First Round: The course was conducted very well and successfully

Regarding the first round of the pedagogical training course, a number of participants shared their views and feedback with the Kurdistan Institution's website. First, Mr. Ari Omar Abdul, who holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry, stated: "I extend my congratulations, thanks, and appreciation to the Kurdistan Institution for Strategic Studies and Scientific Research. It was truly an academic course full of knowledge and information." He added: "The individuals who managed the course were a capable and expert team, and I wish them further success."

Additionally, Ms. Bahar Rahim Hama from Faruk Medical City, who holds a Master's degree in Maternal and Newborn Nursing, told us: "The course was conducted very well. I wish further success to Dr. Bnar and all the course staff, and I hope this course continues."

Mr. Hawre Wali Ahmed from the University of Raparin, who holds a Master's degree in Urban Geography, noted: "It was a very good, beneficial, and successful course. I wish continuity and further success for this program."
